7 Years After its Release, Is Final Fantasy 15 Still worth to Play?
7 years after its initial release, Final Fantasy 15 has been a game with a mixed review. Some adored it, others despised it. With its stunning graphics and detail but also a storyline plothole the size of a Swiss cheese. after all this time, is it still worth playing?
The narrative of Final Fantasy XV follows the journey of Prince Noctis and his loyal comrades to gather power from the Rulers of Yore to reclaim his throne and save the world. it has an engaging story, rich with themes such as friendship, duty, and sacrifice. but unfortunately lacking.
The storyline is a fractured mess of disparate buildings. with two continents. the other one is an unfinished development the developer decided to make the Open-World Exploration impossible and turn it into the linear progress of a train riding journey.
Furthermore, the character motivations made little to no sense, plagued by the typical trope of "the power of friendship" which makes everything feel flat. The romance between Noctis and his supposed to-be bride, Lunafreya is not quite there.
Despite everything, Final Fantasy XV is still a fairly good game, with all the flaws and its mistakes. it is still a fascinating product Square Enix has come up with. you can still enjoy the majestic scenery of a mixed medieval fantasy world and Modern Magical land with monsters and dungeons, drive a car through desert and swamps with your companions and go camping in the middle of a grass plain and cook wonderful food you catch for yourselves. it is still a wonderful game to play once in a while.
