New Response, Helldivers 2 No Longer Requires PSN

 

For comments disagreeing with the updated policy that are considered bad choices, Sony PlayStation responded that Helldivers 2 no longer requires a PSN account to play it. 

On the X account @PlayStation provides information on gamers' complaints. Sony also stated that on May 30th the new policy will not continue. The notification closed with a positive response and always prioritizes the comfort of Helldivers 2 gamers. 

Previously, Sony applied a new policy starting from May 6, Helldivers 2 gamers on Steam had to connect to a PSN account. If not, then Helldivers 2 will no longer be played. This has a negative impact on players living in countries where PlayStation Network services are not available.

Sony PlayStation's social media, one of which is X, was filled with Helldivers 2 gamers who were disadvantaged by this new policy. However, Sony quickly released the latest information regarding the cancellation of the new policy.
