Nintendo's Legal Battle: The Citra and Yuzu Emulators Under Fire

around a week ago, shocking news was revealed that Nintendo, a game publisher and console manufacturer has sued Yuzu and Citra for a whopping 2.4 million US Dollar

This shocking move by Nintendo has caused turbulence among people who enjoyed playing Nintendo Switch and 3ds by using emulators on PC. Nintendo sued the developers of the emulators for "Facilitating piracy on a colossal scale" and it seems that the developers of the emulators gave up without a fight

They gave everything Nintendo wanted from the code of the emulators, the money, and also the domain. Although the developers intended for the emulators primarily designed to circumvent and play Nintendo Switch games. it is an unavoidable fact that people downloaded and pirated Nintendo games illegally and leaked content before its release.

Now the emulators have been discontinued, some online supporters decided to back up the emulators. which means there could be a possibility that this will not be the literal end of it all.
